Bye Bye Winter

Happy Spring, everyone! I spent another beautiful sunny weekend in an outfit that mixed some old wardrobe faves with some sneaky new additions… you know how I roll. Case in point: this grey peplum sweater. It's by Tory Burch and I bought it from a discount department stores a few years ago when peplum was all the rage. I still think it's such a flattering and feminine silhouette - cinched at the waist and loose in all the right places.

I paired it with my old faithful H&M boyfriend jeans that I can't seem to get enough of. They're easily the best $34.99 I've spent on clothing in a long time. I've worn them countless times and they held up well through many washes. They're super comfortable and versatile. H&M can be hit or miss when it comes to denim, but when it gets it right, it gets it really right.

My bag is a simple structured black leather tote from Coach. It's great for work and houses all my essentials and then some. From makeup bag to wallet, card holder, sunglasses and keys to two tangerines and a banana - this bag has got me covered. The shoes are an absolute splurge that I had been mulling over and saving for in the last few months. They're the Valentino “Tango” block heels in black patent leather and I never want to take them off. They're super comfortable and timeless. I opted for the shorter heel height, which makes them more work appropriate and will thus lead me to get more wear out of them.
