Chanel Tendresse Eye and Cheek Palette Review
Chanel is no doubt one of the most iconic luxury brands in the world, and their makeup is no exception. Their products are always high-quality and beautifully packaged, and the Chanel Eye & Cheek Palette in shade 957 Tendresse is no exception. This limited edition palette from the Spring Summer 2023 collection is perfect for creating a soft, natural look that is perfect for everyday wear in a compact that is super handy for travel. The Palette:
The Chanel Eye & Cheek Palette in Tendresse is the lightest colorway of two limited-edition palettes in the Spring Summer 2023 collection. The packaging is designed to resemble a large Chanel eyeshadow quad, containing four versatile shades that can be used as both eyeshadow and blush. Three of the shades have a subtle satin finish and the highlighting shade has a more pronounced shimmer that is still quite refined and flattering on the skin. The shades in the Tendresse palette include a peachy rose highlighter shade, a warm rosy brown, a sunny coral and a reddish plum.
The formula is quite sheer but buildable. It does take a bit of work and layering to get a more significant color pay-off, so if you’re seeking something very pigmented, you will be disappointed. It is more suitable for softer, barely there sunkissed peachy-coral looks; and because of its sheer pigmentation it is almost foolproof. It’s impossible to look over-blushed with this palette! The highlighter shade looks gorgeous layered on top of the blush shades on the cheeks or pressed on top of the eyelid for a subtle sheen. It’s not glittery or chunky, and it doesn’t emphasize pores in an unflattering way.
Once applied on the cheeks and eyes, I find that the Chanel Tendresse Eye & Cheek Palette lasts all day.
Overall, I really enjoy the Chanel Eye & Cheek Palette in Tendresse. Is this a groundbreaking product in terms of eyeshadow and blush formula? No. However it is incredibly easy to use, flattering o the skin and long wearing. It’s something that was lacking in my collection and it is perfect for travel or if I’m getting ready for work and want something quick, easy and effortless. It is a beautiful, high-quality palette that is perfect for creating a soft, natural look. It’s not a must have, but certainly a nice-to-have for me.
